The P600 Plus Whole House Air Purifier utilizes a purification process called photocatalytic oxidation which safely breaks down these dangerous chemicals. A 20 Watt ultraviolet germicidal lamp’s irradiation is reflected by an included TitanClean™ Reflector coated in TiO2 to form hard working hydroxyl radicals and super-oxide ions which break up the molecular bonds of chemicals like ammonia, formaldehyde and benzene until they become harmless carbon dioxide and water vapor. With the help of the TitanClean™ Reflector, the purifier’s UV lamp maintains 98% of its direct irradiation, and the premium coat of TiO2 offers an additional 3 times the potency of the photocatalytic oxidation.
The P600 Plus Whole House Air Purifier also features a vacuumable pre-filter, an 18 lbs, 2” deep 570 sq. inch carbon bed and a true HEPA filter for complete indoor air filtration. The pre-filter catches large airborne particles, while the carbon bed further absorbs chemicals, gases and unsavory odors, and the HEPA filter traps 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 µm. This whole house purifier has a one piece motor/fan assembly that is situated out of the unit’s air flow, giving you a quiet purifier with reduced vibration that will not introduce any new impurities into your purified air.
